The original vision for Hortman Clinics was a stem cell clinic. Dubai's regulatory framework at the time required a different starting point, so the clinic launched in aesthetics while keeping the regenerative medicine opportunity in sight.

Dr. Fatma Al Hashimi became the key figure carrying that vision forward. Through persistence and the right partnerships, Hortman opened the stem cell door with an out-of-the-box solution. The program has now been running successfully for several years.

Dr. Fatma also implemented the Congress of Stem Cells in Dubai, with the fifth edition approaching. The event has become a platform for advancing the field in the region.
