Longevity is a system, not a treatment
The market wants one injection that solves ageing. The evidence keeps pointing somewhere less glamorous and far more effective.

Every week someone asks me for the treatment. Singular. The one thing that will do it. I understand the question, because it is the question the industry has trained people to ask. It is also the wrong one.
What compounds
For seven years I have woken at 5:00 AM to run. Not because running is a longevity protocol, although it is, but because the hour holds everything else in place. Sleep, food, training, recovery and attention are not accessories to a clinical programme. They are the programme. Advanced medicine works on top of that foundation. It cannot substitute for it.
Medicine can raise your ceiling. Only habit raises your floor.
Where clinical work genuinely adds
- Measurement. You cannot manage what you have not measured, and most people have never had a proper baseline taken.
- Correction. Deficiencies, hormonal imbalance and inflammation are addressable once they are visible.
- Regenerative medicine, applied narrowly and honestly, for the cases where the evidence supports it.
- Continuity. A single consultation changes nothing. A relationship measured in years changes a life.
Why Dubai's move matters
In June 2026 His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum announced the Dubai Longevity Authority under Law No. 17 of 2026. What interests me is not the announcement, it is the implication. A city has decided that healthy lifespan is public infrastructure, not a private luxury. That reframes what clinics are expected to deliver and, in time, who is allowed to make claims.
I welcome that pressure. Regulation is inconvenient when you are building something. It is also the only reason a patient can trust a stranger with their body.
The honest position
Nobody working seriously in this field will promise you extra decades. What we can do is help you spend the decades you have in better condition. That is a smaller claim and a much more useful one.
